Forthcoming short story collection

I've been talking over at The Word Factory about e-publishing and my planned foray into this area. If all goes well, I'll have a short story collection available within the week. Exciting stuff!  I love the cover (see below) which matches this blog and was a collaborative effort between Steven Miscandlon and me. All credit to Steven for making my initial amateurish effort look so damn cool - thank you!  You rock!

  2. Aw, thanks, Sean - you're a pal! :)

I csn't believe it took me so damn long to see the benefits of self-publishing, having that direct connection to readers. Makes sense to me!

  5. Self-pub used to be a huge scarlett letter, complicated, expensive, and filled with shysters. There are still idiots out there who look down on self-pub, but F*ck them! The key is to take your time, learn the ropes, and present a quality product.

  6. Absolutely! Like you, my aim is just to do the best job I can. Publishing is changing. Those of us who self-publish have the capacity to be lighter on our feet and more nimble when it comes to adapting to change. That must be a good thing!
